 Arrange your room design to have all plumbing fixtures against one or two walls to save on your remodel of a bathroom, kitchen, or laundry room. This design reduces the amount of pipe used and simplifies the connections and the routing of pipes to major supply lines and drains. Just as in #7 above, this simpler arrangement of plumbing fixtures allows sharing of pipes and drains. You may also discover that the resulting arrangement of plumbing fixtures is easier to work with in terms of installing a vanity or cabinets and that you lose less space to pipes. Simplicity always saves money.
